Our client is a gear manufacturer

Job Description

 

Reporting to the Director. You will be responsible for:

CNC Turning:

• Reading technical drawings
• Using technical / measuring equipment such as micrometers etc to ensure the parts meets the specs.
• Setting machine and change offsets.

Gear Manufacturing:

• Cutting and grinding gears
• Setting grinding machines

Fitting & Turning:

• Using Lathe machines (vertical and horizontal)

 

 

Qualifications

 

• Matric

Skills

• 3+ years experience
• Operating machines to manufacture gears
• Must have work experience on lathe or be able to clock up (as it is a similar concept to running a lathe).
