Job Description

A successful incumbent will be responsible for:

• All food orders, storerooms and fridge and deep freezes in absence of the head chef
• Working remotely and be flexible with lack of ingredients.
• Understanding of the 7 day menu and the execution of all aspects of this menu
• Presentation as discussed and according to Styling Guide and menu training
• Up to date with new dietaries and guest preferences
• Control waste management
• firefighting equipment and evacuation procedures
• Report any malfunctioning equipment immediately

Qualifications

Formal Chef qualification

Skills

• At least 3 years’ experience working in a big kitchen with a big team
• Good knowledge of food preparation, knife skills and food service
