Our client is a plastic manufacturer.

Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Manager. You will be responsible for :

• Programming, setting-up and operating of CNC machines
• Proper cutter selection for specific application
• Maintaining high quality standards at all times
• Cutting tool management by ensuring that the correct cutters be available at all times
• Maintaining and modify existing moulds as well as manufacture/design new tools
• Attending to breakdowns at all times, including after-hours support. Weekends, public holidays, etc included
• Refurbishing tools to standard specifications
• Repairing breakdowns
• Assisting with tool-related problems
• Helping with troubleshooting
• Maintain safety, hygiene and housekeeping standards
• Programming and operating controls on CNC machines

Qualifications

• Qualified Trade Tested Toolmaker/Fitter and Tuner

Skills

• Min 2-3 years experience in plastic injection moulding
• Reading AutoCAD drawings
• Edgecam experience
• 3D modelling software (Inventor or Solidworks or similar)
