Job Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager. You will be responsible for:

• Checking and inspecting all points on preventative maintenance program .
• Ensuring the daily check sheet is completed for startup and shut down of production facility.
• Maintaining equipment, buildings and infrastructure.
• Performing all maintenance and repairs effectively.
• Performing maintenance and repair activities within the applicable acts, regulations, instructions, policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Arranging and reporting major maintenance projects.
• Report any out of spec temperatures to the refrigeration technician.
• Reporting any production room temperatures that are out of spec.
• Reporting any damages and negligent of any temperature related equipment.
• Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Installing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
• Inspecting and examine machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions

Qualifications

• Millwright qualification
• Refrigeration Qualification an advantage

Skills

• 3 -5 years'' experience in the food manufacturing environment
• Exposure to Sub-zero temperatures environment an advantage
