SUMMARY:
My client is a Telecommunications/Fibre solutions company that is looking for a BI Data Analyst/Developer to assist with strategies and technologies used by enterprises for the data analysis and management of business information.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

DUTIES:

Translate business needs to technical specifications
Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools, data warehouse)
Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g., MicroStrategy)
Create tools to store data (e.g., normalized or cubes)
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
Create visualizations and reports as requested
Analytical processing, dashboard development, data mining, process mining, complex event processing, predictive and prescriptive analytics and data staging

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics/
Min. 5 years in BI/Data space
