POSITION INFO:

BEng/BSc Mechanical Specialist – Bellville – Market Related Salary

(Basic salary, medical aid, provident fund, car allowance)

The main focus is to sell the company’s products and services to new and existing customers.

Requirements:

• BEng or BSc Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an engineering environment.
• Minimum 2 years’ sales or project management experience with large capital equipment.

Key Performances:

• Secure orders by professional response to enquiries, submission of tenders and negotiation of contracts.
• Select equipment to meet customers’ requirements (Mainly within the food & beverage industry) . The products are largely pre-engineered; however, engineer will be responsible for selection of equipment and configuring the entire plant.
• Review customer’s commercial and technical documentation and respond with suitably qualified and

contractually sound tenders.

• Prepare project estimates including dealing with suppliers, sub-contractors and internal departments.
• Maintain status awareness of all potential projects, solicit new enquiries, and keep abreast of industry developments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers.
