Financial Planner in Johannesburg

Job Description

Our client is looking for seasoned and experienced CFP to join their team in JHB.

Duties include

• Generate your own leads in the business owners and professionals market in Johannesburg and Pretoria, but can have clients nationally if you already have clients in other provinces
• Follow the 6-step financial planning process with clients
• Advice clients on financial planning, retirement planning, life insurance and investment and any associated products and services
• Conduct Discovery meeting, Recommendations meeting, Implementation meeting and Progress meeting with clients
• Compile and update financial plans for clients
• Work and delegate tasks to administrators
• Prepare quotations as necessary
• Conclude business with clients
• Ensure annual reviews are conducted
• Write a quarterly article for personal finance newsletters
• Handle ongoing client queries
• Maintain and uphold CPD  and compliance
• Escalate unresolved, difficult matters with life insurance companies, investment companies or ombudsman
• Attend major product provider workshops, launches and webinars
• Contribute and shape the strategy and operations of the company

Qualifications

• Certified Financial Planner (Requirement)

Skills

• Own car and Valid driver''s license
• 5 + year’s experience as financial planner/ investment specialist / wealth manager (Requirement)
• Proven track record of business development and client satisfaction
• Proven experience with an industry standard financial planning tool
• Proven experience with a industry standard CRM system

Salary / Package

Commission based (R30,000 salary on loan account for first 3 months to be paid back over 8 months)
