SUMMARY:
Our client operating within the Financial Services industry is searching for a dynamic and experienced individual to fill their current Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) Verification Analyst vacancy within their Johannesburg North based finance team. POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree and/or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree and/or National Diploma (NDip) specialising in Accounting
• Bachelor of Accounting Sciences specialising in Internal Auditing
• Minimum 2 months’ working experience in a similar Accounting, Finance, and/or Costing Field
• Basic Microsoft Excel software skills are highly advantageous

Job description & Skills:

• Performing BBBEE verifications in accordance with the BBBEE Codes of Good Practice and all sector codes
• Conducting kick off meetings without supervision and building strong relationships with clients
• Interpreting, verifying, and communicating all elements of the BBBEE scorecard other than complex ownership structures
• Preparing a complete verification file to a high standard and conclude on the results
• Making presentations findings to audiences
• Dealing with objections and answering challenging questions
• Dealing with conflict situations
• Answering questions from clients on all BEE related verification and implementation issues
