Minimum Requirements:
- Red Seal Welding Certificate (Trade Tested).
- Minimum 3 years’ welding experience, preferably in a power station or heavy industrial environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Knowledge of welding procedures, safety standards, and quality control requirements.
- Physically fit and able to work at heights or confined spaces when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks (arc, MIG, TIG, and other processes) according to project specifications.
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components.
- Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards through visual checks and non-destructive testing.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition.
- Adhere to site safety protocols and ensure compliance with power station regulations.
