Full Stack Squad Leader – Azure Squad

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Line manage a team of professional engineers
  • Collaborate closely with Development, Product Design, and QA Engineers to build high-quality features and delight customers.
  • Deploy Azure components and solutions.
  • Assert the quality of code with unit tests and integration tests.
  • Perform code reviews in .NET and Angular.
  • Participate in Research and Innovation days.
  • An interest in expanding your horizons and learning new skills.
  • Remain up to date on industry trends and share knowledge among teams.
  • Perform DevOps duties on your code once running in production.

Essential skills, qualifications, and experience 

  • Experience in leading and managing people
  • Solid experience in .NET and C#.
  • Solid experience in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3 and Angular (building SPA web applications)
  • Experience architecting cloud solutions in Azure
  • Experience building complex web applications (RESTful APIs, security best practices, scalability etc.)
  • Experience with CI and CD automation and tools
  • Familiarity with agile development frameworks, e.g. SCRUM
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Work well in and across teams as well as independently.
  • Be passionate and self-driven.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of latest development best practices and standards
  • Must come from a Design led, high-growth SaaS business background

 

Desired skills, qualifications, and experience 

  • Experience with AKS Azure Kubernetes Service.
  • Experience with other cloud infrastructure providers
  • Experience with databases and SQL
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
