A reputable vehicle dealership based in Bramley, Johannesburg is currently seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join their team. The perfect candidate for this position must have at least 3 years of experience as a Workshop Manager within a franchised dealership environment. The candidate would be responsible for the planning, leading, organizing, and supervising the day-to-day activities of the Workshop Section, controlling the quality of repairs, annual PMS, implementation of HSEQ standards, and performance appraisal of subordinates

Requirements:

• Matric Certification
• Mechanical Engineering Degree / Diploma would be an advantage
• A valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Workshop Manager within a franchised dealership environment
• Minimum 5 years experience within the Automotive Industry
• Computer literate in MS Office and Automotive CRM / POS Systems
• Excellent leadership ability
• Excellent customer service standards
• Punctual and dedicated
• A go-getter who is able to work within a team and individually

Duties will include:

• Correct stock levels must be coordinated.
• Make the necessary changes.
• Achieving workshop goals and targets.
• Manage and coordinate the warranty procedure.
• Quotes must be managed and coordinated.
• Budgets are created and implemented.
• Control individual performance.
• HSE and quality
• Attain quality goals and standards.
• Quality initiatives should be implemented.
• Development and training
• Customer Service
• Customer assistance is provided.
• Resolve Queries
• HSE and quality
• Attain quality goals and standards.
• Quality initiatives should be implemented.
