Automotive Financial Manager

An up-and-coming dealership based in George, Western Cape is currently seeking an Automotive Finance Manager to be responsible for the performance of their dealerships'' in-house financing operations, including building relationships with lenders. Additionally, the perfect fit must be able to build solid long-term relationships with many lending institutions to benefit their dealership''s customers.

Requirements:

• Matric Certification
• Degree in finance essential
• Minimum of 3 years in the same or similar role within the Automotive Industry
• Dealership experience
• Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Valid Drivers License and own vehicle
• Experience in providing back-office services such as accounts payable, collection, and payroll.
• Excellent communication skills
• Figure oriented and articulate

Duties will include:

• Daily reporting.
• Analyzing targets.
• Meeting with department heads.
• Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting and reforecast processes.
• Providing back-office services such as accounts payable, collection and payroll.
• Monitoring cash flow.
• Liaising with accountant teams.
• Providing insights on the financial health of the organisation.
• Ensuring the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues.
• Keeping track of market trends.
• Looking for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Developing relationships with external contacts such as auditors, solicitors and HM Revenue & Customs.
• Supervising staff
