Automation Technician

SUMMARY:
A diverse company is seeking an Automation Technician. They design, manufacture and commission industrial automation systems for various clients in the mining industry and is seeking someone that has great experience with PLC, HMI development and someone that is willing to travel up in Africa.

POSITION INFO:

Project commissioning on site

Perform HMI and PLC Programming

HMI Development

Scada Development

Commissioning of industrial automation and systems

Client liaison

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 4-7 years’ experience

Good Communication skills

PLC Programming experience

Electrical Design including schematic layouts

Understanding of Electrical systems

HMI Development skills

Hands on

Qualification:

National Diploma in Mechatronic or Electronic Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Driver’s license and own vehicle

Willing to travel to Africa  

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
