POSITION INFO:

Primary purpose of the job

• To perform general electrical maintenance, preventative maintenance as well as fault finding maintenance on industrial robots,
• project installations and robotic applications
• Key Performance Areas
• Repair and maintain robots to ensure customer and company quality standards are met
• Do fault finding and preventative maintenance as per maintenance schedule and according to job cards and relevant works instruction
• Compile feedback on time sheets to ensure accurate repair data.
• Ensure that company procedures, works instructions and quality systems are always adhered to
• Participate actively in the departmental M2S as per company requirement
• Ensure that work practices comply with the company SHEQ procedures and works instructions

Minimum Qualifications/Experience Required

• Grade 12.
• Technical Diploma would be advantageous
• Qualified Electrician / Millwright
• Min. 5 years’ experience as a Robot Technician within an automotive environment
• Extensive working knowledge of PLC programming, Siemens TIA, S7, Festo and ABB stampmaste
