POSITION INFO:
Automation QA Engineer required for a software company in Glasgow (mostly remote).
You''ll have the opportunity to join this award-winning company as they scale up and look at add a QA Engineer focused on automation testing to their team. You''ll ideally have some experience with Cypress (or would like to!), as well as JavaScript of Python and are keen to make automated testing a focus.
However, the company care far more about your general automation testing skills and attitude towards testing than any specific programming language (although some knowledge of at least one - any one - is needed).

You''ll have most of the following skills/experience:
** Experience creating automation test scripts from scratch
** Knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript, Python etc.
** Knowledge of Cypress would be great!
** Manual testing, API testing, smoke testing
** Experience in a DevOps environment
This company create an interesting and award-winning range of cloud-based products that benefit the education sector globally are based in the west of Glasgow (easily accessible by public transport). Right now, they are working remotely, and would like to move to a hybrid model long term (although focusing on mostly remote working), so you will ideally be able to commute at least two days every couple of weeks.
