SUMMARY:
Do you enjoy Electrical Design, Programming and Testing of Automated machinery? A Leader in the industry is in search of an experienced Automation Engineer with a hands-on approach and Project Experience to form part of their team of highly skilled individuals.

POSITION INFO:

Electrical system Design, Electrical drawings (AutoCAD)

Must be a dedicated individual and willing to travel

PLC Programming (Schneider, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Delta and IFM)

PLC fault finding

Commissioning on site

HMI Development

SCADA

Setup / Commission VSD’s

Onsite support and breakdown assistance

Fieldbus network, Modbus, Profinet and Ethernet

Skills & Experience:

Ability to work independently and part of a team

Must have exceptional programming skills

Excellent task management capabilities

Computer literate (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Attention to detail

Must have worked in a project environment

Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role

Qualification:

BEng / BSc / BTech / NDip Electrical & Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering

Valid drivers’ license and own transport

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
