Automation Engineer

POSITION INFO:

Design and implementation of automation systems

PLC programming

SCADA development and programming

MES & reporting system development

Factory acceptance testing

Commissioning on site of industrial control systems

Support / breakdown assistance on site

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3-5 Years’ Experience implementing industrial automation and process control solutions

Schneider EcoStruxure Machine, Automation & Control Expert, Vijeo Designer

Aveva Wonderware InTouch, System Platform, Historian, Plant SCADA (Citect)

Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7

Rockwell Automation Allen Bradley RS Logix 500/5000

GE/Emerson PAC & SCADA

Familiar with Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA

Knowledge of PLC''s, SCADA, SQL, MS Windows & MS Server

Knowledge of Ethernet network configurations

Qualification:

BEng/ BSc/ BTech/ NDip Electrical/ Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering

Valid drivers’ license and passport (willing to travel)

Own transport

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
