POSITION INFO:

Leader in the field of precision mechanical manufacturing seeks to employ a suitably qualified and experienced Auto Setter at their premises near Cape Town.

For the position you would be required to have:

Qualified Artisan/AA Sliding Head Auto Setter
Previous experience in a high-volume precision mechanical engineering environment is essential.
Good Technical knowledge of drawings, equipment and machinery.
Experience in various Single/Multi Spindle Auto machines

Responsibilities would include you to:

Machines are set and maintained for producing components to the planning productivity and quality standards;
Operators are fully instructed in the operation of the respective machine process prior to full operation of the machine under minimum supervision;
Setting scrap is kept to a minimum and segregated from acceptable production;
All production remains identified during all manufacturing stages;
Corrective action is immediately taken when adverse trends are noted
Maintain good housekeeping.
