Job Requirements:
Your key responsibilities will be:
? Control Production
o Review the Shopware
o Set the machine according to the factory card (in the absence of a Best Operating Practice) in
conjunction with the Printer Operator
o Ensure each job is checked and meets customer requirements before running it
o Reconcile and complete time sheets, factory cards and Shopware on completion of each order
o Run the machine at the optimum speed to achieve maximum output at the lowest cost and maintain the
highest quality standard.
o Do routine QC checks
o Ensure that ISO 9001/2000 Best Practices are adhered to
o Utilise Shopware to feedback and monitor performance against target & fill in ad-hoc maintenance
o Check all dies for wear and tear after each run
o Assist Printer operator when required? Control Stacking
o Ensure that cartons are packed according to specification on a pallet
o Ensure that the presentation is word class standards
o Ensure empty pallets are stored in the correct yellow squares and waste in red squares.
? Waste/Non-conforming Product
o All waste or non-conforming products to be isolated in a red square or in the QC hold area.
o Ensure corrective action is taken to remedy any identified quality deviations
o Identify training needs for your department
o Ensure quality check sheets of applicable orders are done.

Qualifications & Experience:
? Grade 12/Matric – with Mathematics (not Maths Literacy)
? Computer literacy skills
? 3 years’ experience within Corrugated Environment
? Good interpersonal skills
? Ability to work under pressure
? Team player
? Sound knowledge of proceduresÂ
