Auto Electrical Supervisor (Mining) - Jwaneng

SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Auto Electrical Supervisor within the mining industry. The ideal candidate will be required to oversee the auto electrical maintenance and repairs of all vehicles and earthmoving machinery. One will require management and sales experience.

POSITION INFO:

• Manage the servicing,maintenance and repairs with various CAT mobile plant equipment on-ste

• Troubleshooting mechanical faults 

• Ensure availability of machinery 

• Identify spares requirements and order according to the needs of the branch 

• Investigate, diagnose and perform trade related maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery according to maintenance requirements 

• Develop, modify, construct and install related equipment required for the safe operation of all equipment within area of responsibility 

• Full financial responsibility, budgeting and administration of branch

• responsible for total branch performance, maximizing income and profit from a range of products and services

• Manage and develop staff as well as having a hands-on approach in making sure the branch performs as expected.

• Work or implement strategies to increase productivity and meet sales targets, as well as making joint calls with salesmen as needed.

• Maintain contact and effective relationships with customers and suppliers

• Successfully resolve customer issues timely and professionally.

• Continuously update product knowledge

• Direct warehouse operations. Maintain necessary inventory levels, order materials, route deliveries and pickups

• Manage workflow to assist staff in balancing priorities, providing backup support if needed and otherwise ensuring that all work is accomplished with an appropriate sense of urgency

• Participate in the recruiting and interviewing process of new employees.

• Oversee training as well as identify and foster development opportunities for all branch personnel as required or needed.

• Periodically evaluate the performance of branch personnel, as well as develop goals and objectives, providing both formal and informal feedback on a regular basis.

• Ensure policies and procedures are communicated and followed.
