Audit Supervisor (Pretoria)

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Consulting in Local Government, are looking for a Post-article- consultants to assist the client for year-end preparation of the Fixed Asset Register compilation and clearing management letter points raised by the AGSA.

POSITION INFO:

The preferred candidate will assist the client to meet their reporting requirements by providing assistance in order for the client to obtain a clean audit report.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• To manage the overall financial management, ensure financial reporting in line with the GRAP statements and compliance with MFMA and liaise with internal and external auditors (Auditor General) during the audit process.

The suitable candidate for this role must possess at a minimum:

• BCompt degree
• Minimum 2 years public sector auditing experience
• Completed SAICA articles or similar
• Exposure and knowledge of MFMA
• Exposure and knowledge of GRAP
• Caseware (advantageous)

• Taking responsibility
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to travel – will be placed at client up to 31 August 2021
• Must have their own transport

Desired Work Experience:

• 1 to 2 years External Auditing

Desired Qualification Level & Accreditations:

• Degree
• South African Institute of Chartered Accountant
