JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client has an opportunity available for an Audit Investigator.

Requirements:

CA(SA) who trained in public practice.
6+ years post qualification experience in an external audit firm.
Excellent technical knowledge and experience in auditing and financial reporting standards and the code of professional conduct.
Willing to work overtime when required.

KPAs:

Investigate complaints lodged with the company against registered auditors and prepare reports for the Investigating Committee.
Prepare proposed charge sheets on matters for the Investigating Committee where improper conduct has occurred.
Attend Investigating and Enforcement Committee meetings to respond to queries arising from the deliberations of the committees.
Prepare draft responses to queries arising from Complainants or Respondents on matters investigated.
Present evidence at Disciplinary Hearings on matters investigated.
Assist with various ad-hoc assignments in the Investigations department.
