SUMMARY:
A reputable organisation seeks a seasoned qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) to join their Investigations division!

POSITION INFO:
POSITION : AUDIT INVESTIGATOR (CA)SA
AREA : EAST RAND , GAUTENG
SALARY : MARKET RELATED

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

MUST be a qualified CA(SA)- with an active SAICA membership
At least 6 years experience post CA(SA) registration is ESSENTIAL
Trained in External Audit within an Audit firm is ESSENTIAL
Excellent technical knowledge and experience in auditing and financial reporting standards, and the code of professional conduct.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Investigate complaints lodged with the organisation against registered auditors and prepare
reports for the Investigating Committee providing an analysis of the matter and the alleged improper conduct.
Prepare proposed charge sheets on matters for the Investigating Committee, where improper conduct has occurred.
Attend Investigating and Enforcement Committee meetings in order to respond to queries arising from the deliberations of the committees.
Prepare draft responses to queries arising from Complainants/Respondents on matters investigated.
Present evidence at Disciplinary Hearings on matters investigated.
Assist with various ad-hoc assignments in the allocated department.
