POSITION INFO:

This niche SAICA learnership specialising in Corporate Finance & Financial Management, is a 3 year training programme based in Cape Town. Trainees will gain exposure to various areas of the business on a rotational basis including Audit, Accounting & Tax; but will specialise in providing Corporate Finance services including deal advisory, mergers & acquisitions, valuations, financial modelling & due diligence to a broad range of clients situated nationally. Successful candidates will get exposure to multiple facets of professional services & will have the opportunity to learn from experts in each area. At the end of a successful traineeship, the trainee is eligible to qualify as a CA(SA). Duties & responsibilities:
- Assisting in execution of deals
- Assisting in the preparation of marketing, pitchbooks and related materials
- Gathering and collating of public/client information
- Creating financial models
- Generating valuation models
- Drafting client marketing documents such as Information Memorandums for financing or sell side agreements
- Analysing company performance on a relative basis
- Producing and maintaining various databases
- Gathering and collating client information

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work long hours
- Detail orientated when required (mindset of zero defect)
- Eagerness to learn broad range of finance / business skills within a high paced environment
