The Role: Associate Recruitment Consultant

This role supports the growth of client and candidate pipelines by working across executive mandates within Investment Banking and Private Equity. Based remotely in South Africa, you will be responsible for sourcing top-tier candidates, maintaining accurate market data, and supporting business development efforts as the firm expands across North America and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum 18 months of recruitment experience required
Respond to and screen inbound candidate enquiries to assess motivations and suitability
Source candidates via database and LinkedIn for active mandates
Conduct interviews and write candidate overviews for shortlist packs
Maintain accurate market mapping and candidate records
Build a pool of Analyst and Associate-level candidates globally
Generate leads and insights through candidate calls and networking
Conduct internet research to identify and map new client contacts
Support client outreach efforts with targeted emails and database updates

About You

At least 18 months of recruitment experience, ideally in UK or US markets
Experience recruiting within Investment Banking or Private Equity preferred, but other Professional Services sectors also considered
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confident working with LinkedIn and recruitment databases
Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Comfortable working fully remotely and aligning with UK/US time zones (10 am -7 pm SA / 11 am -8pm SA one day per week)
