POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking for a driven and ambitious Assistant Finance Manager to join their high-performing finance team. If you’re passionate about finance, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are ready to grow into a leadership-focused role, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
You’ll work closely with senior finance leadership, gain exposure to strategic financial operations, and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the business’s financial function.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Assisting with monthly management accounts and financial reporting
Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Monitoring cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies
Assisting with audits and statutory reporting
Supervising finance staff and providing support where needed
Overseeing the Fleet and Stores department while supporting the Finance Supervisor
Analysing financial data and preparing insightful management reports
Supporting payroll processes and strengthening financial controls
Identifying process improvement opportunities and cost-saving initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
3–5 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
Previous supervisory experience advantageous
Experience within the security industry beneficial
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication abilities
Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
High attention to detail with a strong sense of integrity and professionalism
