SUMMARY:
Our client, a poultry product manufacturing company is seeking a passionate assistant warehouse manager to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Scheduling of Deliveries and Vehicles loading
Loading and Offloading checking
Communicating with Drivers, Transporters, and suppliers regarding truck whereabouts etc.
Building and Equipment Maintenance – Quotations to getting it done
Workforce Management – Assign, Forklift Driver, Warehouse Supervisor and Good Receiving Officer
Approve labour over time / leave applications / time worked.
Oversee and assist animal health warehouse team.
Consumables ordering and Pallets purchasing.
Purchase consumables / packaging / warehouse requirements.
Stock control and Jodi Reconciliations
SOP’s Warehouse
Preparing loading instructions – SLIs
Keeping track and following up on orders to be delivered – Jodi’s goods
Load offload goods with Forklift when needed – Generally busy days and during the forklift drivers’ lunch
Identify growth / improvements within the warehouse.
Monitor output capacity of the warehouse and strive to improve on it.
Conduct / oversee / outsource all maintenance, including equipment, building, movable assets, safety equipment etc.
Warehouse ventilator checks – monthly.

Education:

Minimum matric

Remuneration:

R480 000 CTC pa
