Assistant to Procurement and Logistics Manager - Germiston

SUMMARY:
Our client, based in Germiston is looking for a dynamic Assistant to join their well established team.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

• Min of 3 year Experience in Procurement Essential
• Placing local buying orders
• Capturing of orders on SYSPRO and emailing of orders to Local and International suppliers
• Recording of all new buy-outs on SYSPRO nationwide
• Insuring sufficient stock availability at service provider
• Booking stock received from local and international suppliers into SYSPRO
• Manage and maintain stock levels
• Stock transfers to the Branches to ensure they have sufficient stock at all times
• Expedite outstanding orders on a weekly base from local suppliers and inform relevant internal staff
• Update delivery dates on SYSPRO
• General admin support

Requirements:

• Experience in customer/supplier communication
• Able to reconcile and work with numbers
• Great attention to detail
• Must be Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Good communication, organizational and planning skills
• Strong Excel Knowledge
• Syspro Knowledge Essential
• Imports experience will be advantageous

Package:

• R17 000 to R19 000 per month plus medical aid and provident fund.
• Discovery Group Life Risk cover.
