JOB DESCRIPTION:

Permanent Position EE (Employment Equity )

Our corporate listed client in Rosebank seeks urgently an Assistant accountant  with minimum 5 Years experience to join there team . must be able to work at a pace and handle pressure  - Would be advantageous if you have worked on Sage 300 -  Accpac accounting package .

Must have experience in capturing the cashbook, bank recons  experience in depreciation and journals essential and fixed assets and electronic payments.

Requirements and Duties 

  • Electronic payments.
  • Capturing cashbook transactions.
  • Bank Reconciliations. 
  • Fixed assets register.
  • Other tasks relevant position.

 Competencies:

  • Accounting knowledge.

  • Previous bookkeeping experience will be beneficial to the applicant.

  • Working knowledge of SAGE 300 (ACCPAC)

  • MS Excel proficient

  • Accounting qualification or studying towards one
  • Extensive Accounting experience
  • Experience in working in an accounting environment.
  • Accounting knowledge
