SUMMARY: -
POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Harvesting and processing• Quality control• Inventory management• Maintenance and housekeeping• Wine samples and administration• Personnel management• Chemical purchases• Wine tasting and external liaison
The ideal candidate has:
• An appropriate tertiary qualification (degree or diploma) in viticulture and oenology• Outstanding knowledge of wine chemistry• Experience in the preparation of premium wines• Technical knowledge of cellar machinery• Excellent computer skills (working knowledge of WineMS)• Compliance and ethical audits IPW, BRC and HACCP (recommendation)• Excellent interpersonal communication skills• Detail-oriented, results-driven, and cooperative personality
