SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the Manager Employee Training, the incumbent of this position will facilitate various employee training interventions, as required by the training calendar. Assist with research, development and updates of training material as required.
Manage administration regarding training facilitation.
Manage administration with regards to the Study Assistance Scheme.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: 
  • Planning/coordinating/conducting/facilitating training in the Employee Training department
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills required
  • Managing, creating, and designing training content and activities
  • Assist with employee/staff/supplier training queries
  • Ongoing relationship building with key stakeholders
  • Evaluate practical training components/examinations
  • Liaise with cross functional training team in Durban & liaise with training suppliers
  • Research ideas and elements of adult learning
  • Training and general administration
  • Study assistance scheme administration
  • Managing various training programmes
  • Monitor training plans and targets
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 
  • NQF Level 5: (240 credits) Higher Education and Training / Industrial Psychology / ETDP (Education Training and Development Practices) or related field / equivalent
  • Minimum of two years training facilitation experience will be advantageous
  • PC literacy (MS Office Advanced) and SAP knowledge will be advantageous

SPECIAL CONDITIONS ATTACHED TO THE JOB: 
  • Must be willing to travel to the east rand periodically as required.
  • Must be willing to travel and stay overnight in Durban / Cape Town (and other destinations) etc. periodically as required.
  • May be required to act in the capacity of surrounding posts.
  • May be required to work overtime.
 
The successful candidate might be expected to travel and stay overnight for work purposes
