SUMMARY:
An established entity within the hardware sector, based in the NORTH-WEST PROVINCE in Rustenburg, is recruiting for an experienced and skilled Assistant Shop Floor Manager
POSITION INFO:
Experience
The successful incumbent must possess at least two years’ experience, working as an Assistant Shop Floor Manager within the hardware and or plumbing sector.
Formal qualifications
- A minimum of a Higher Certificate. A National Diploma qualification will be advantageous
- Own Transport / Valid Code 08 license
- Computer literacy with regards to MS Office
Responsibilities
- The Assistant Shop Floor Manager must assist and support the management team to manage the store and its employees.
- The Assistant Shop Floor Manager must oversee activities and the operations of the store.
- To ensure that service delivery runs efficiently and effectively.
- To assist clients and make recommendations regarding options and products.
- To train and induct new employees on their roles / duties and responsibilities.
- To execute the tasks and instructions which are provided by the management team.
- To delegate tasks and ensure that it is executed in accordance with the prescribed standard
- To oversee and ensure that the store is kept tidy and neat.
