POSITION INFO:

Our client, a fast-growing property management firm, is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Assistant Property Manager with efficient management skills.

Requirements:

A Degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field will be beneficial.
At least 2 to 3 years’ working experience as an Assistant Property Manager is essential.
Working knowledge of property regulations.
A good work ethic is very important.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
Understanding of marketing.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Good customer service.
Must be able to work in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment.

Responsibilities:

Property management and all aspects of block management.
Strong focus on customer service.
General administration and marketing.
Invoice processing (incoming and outgoing).
New block set up on in house systems.
Maintain up to date contact information and mail outs.
Check key documents are scanned and saved.
Service charge / ground rent queries.
Arrange works with contractors.
Preparing and managing budgets.
Contracting and supervising repairs and maintenance.
Collecting rent, dealing with late payments and handling operating expenses.
Maintaining records of income, expenses, signed leases, complaints, and maintenance.
Preparing reports on the financial performance of properties.

Salary offered: R30 000 per month (depending on experience).

Starting date: As soon as possible.
