SUMMARY:
A listed National Company within the FMCG / Retail sector is looking for an experienced Assistant Operations Manager for their branch in Polokwane.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Tertiary qualification with Commercial / Financial / Management subjects will be advantageous
Experience within the Fresh produce sector
Successful track record at Management level in an Operations / Distribution position essential
This responsibility should include expense management and the budget process
Thorough working knowledge of disciplinary / grievance handling procedures, as well as good interpersonal skills at management and staff level
Excel
Accountable for:
Receiving
Stock control
Order picking and order checking
Vehicle loading and despatch
Crate control (issues and returns)
Production
Salary: Market related with benefits
