Our client, an esteemed automotive manufacturing company is searching for for an experienced and suitably qualified Assistant Manager to join their Production Support Centre team.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the job:

To support the Warehouse Manager in the daily operations of Warehousing and Logistics

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Management of inventory and logistic processes in line with the Company and Customer
Manage the quarterly stock count for customers.
Investigate stock count variances, identify and countermeasure to prevent reoccurrence
Analysis of the warehouse management system and performance vs team performance
Manage and document standard operating procedures for all processes
Implement continuous improvement initiatives
Management of team in line with the Company''s expectations
Daily tracking and reporting of team progress in line with Company expectation
Management of team''s training and development and provide overall leadership and guidance
Overall management in line with best practices
Quality - TQM, full responsibility and accountability
Safety - Full responsibility and accountability
Manage teams HR/IR matters and initiate disciplinary action when necessary
