Job Intent PURPOSE:
- To direct and co-ordinate operational aspects through project life cycles to ensure optimum performance according to Life of Mine, business requirements, organisational objectives and sound engineering practice.
- To provide support to Manager, Engineering to optimize performance of equipment through operational and maintenance processes, methods and technology of assets.
MAJOR CHALLENGES:- Ensuring operational readiness related to projects.

Qualifications:
- BEng Electrical Engineering ( Essential or )
- BEng Mechanical Engineering ( Essential or )
- B Tech Electrical Engineering ( Essentialm or )
- B Tech Mechanical Engineering ( Essential )
- Gov Cert of Competence: Engineering ( Essential )
- Management Development Programme ( Essential )
Experience:Minimum of 6-8 years experience
Relevant plant, production, operational and maintenance experience; Project Management, Design and development experience. With coal underground or surface experience
Additional Requirements eg. Accreditation, Registration & Memberships etc.Psychometric Assessment - Essential
Competence: SAP Position Specific Module Essential
Engineering Council of SA (PrEng) Recommended/Desirable
