SUMMARY:
My client is an international Audit Firm with a track record of leveraging off the best technology and practices in the assurance space. Furthermore, they have a vested interest in the development of their staff; looking after their career development and their wellness. They are currently growing their Audit and Assurance team in Johannesburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate will have a passion for external audit and will join a vibrant team to work with challenging projects spread across a wide spectrum of companies and industries. The role offers a diverse and independent work schedule that requires commitment and initiative.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

Identify potential audit issues or unusual trends in financial statements
Demonstrate your professionalism while working in clients’ environments and providing exceptional service
Operating effectively in a regulated environment, with a focus on protecting the capital markets and the investing public
Having a genuine passion for protecting the financial markets via audit procedures auditing

Education:

CA(SA)

Experience:

Around 1-2 years post articles experience at a Big Audit Firm

Skills:

Excellent critical thinking and analysis skills
Confidence to identify and resolve problems
Communication and negotiation skills
Technical writing skills to translate data into compelling stories and meaningful insights
