A renowned advisory firm is looking for a trusted Assistant Manager and business advisor who appreciates a collaborative culture by nurturing team members through mentoring and coaching, knowledge sharing and adapting relevant ideas from previous projects or experiences.

The firm is interested in a specialist with a strong commitment to professional and client service excellence who comes from a consulting background and exudes strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and manage custom and excise opportunities for a portfolio of clients
• Compile submissions on customs and excise matters
• Compile customs, excise and international trade feasibility studies on tariff and non-tariff barriers
• Ensure that all tariff and valuation applications comply with the relevant legislation and guidelines
• Liaison with clients and the relevant government department regarding the applications and submissions

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

• A completed Bachelor of Commerce degree with accounting as major or a similar legal degree
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
• A minimum of 3 years’ working experience in the customs and excise field required
• Strong writing skills
