SUMMARY:
Are you a qualified CA(SA) and self-proclaimed IFRS guru? An international accounting and auditing firm that services prestigious clients in a variety of sectors is looking for you. You would be assisting the national IFRS team as the Assistant IFRS manager.

The role is centred around consulting, training, and annual financial statement reviews. The company has a strong team culture; therefore the ideal candidate would be a team player who is always ready to work hard, but plays just as hard.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

IFRS support and consultation
Provide IFRS training material and facilitate training
Review financial statements for IFRS compliance, identifying IFRS problem areas and providing solutions
Assistance with internal training events

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric
BCom/ BCom Honours
Qualified CA(SA)

Experience:

Completed articles at a big 4 audit firm
Previous exposure to IFRS
Experience in financial services

Skills & Competencies:

Good understanding of IFRS for SMEs
Ability to cope under pressure
Good writing and reporting skills
Presentation and facilitation skills
Good knowledge of JSE listing requirements
Good understanding of corporate governance requirements
