SUMMARY:
Incredible opportunity for a dynamic, self-driven Assistant Group Company Secretary who is looking for increased board exposure, growth, phenomenal mentorship and the ability to rub shoulders with real thought leaders!

As the 2IC to the Group Company Secretary, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of corporate governance and ensuring that the company complies with legal and financial requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for a passionate professional who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty, takes ownership and accountability, and is excited by the challenge of working in an environment with limited structure and the opportunity to be involved in setting it up.

Minimum requirements:

Minimum of a relevant legal tertiary qualification and/or ICSA certification
At least 4 years experience in a JSE listed environment (essential)
Board facing experience/exposure
Knowledge of King Code on Corporate Governance, JSE Listing Requirements and the Companies Act of 2008
Exceptional attention to detail

Due to transformation initiatives of our client, preference will be given to EE candidates
