POSITION INFO:

The Ideal Candidate

• Must have at least 3 years’ experience in Assistant Freight Controlling.
• Must have experience in Cargowise.
• Must have experience in either shipping in imports/exports sea or air experience.

Duties include:

• Register files on Cargo Wise System
• Update all relevant shipping information into the Cargo Wise system
• Manage compliance - ensure documentation and communication is all attached to Cargo Wise system
• Follow up on copy documents, service providers invoices.
• Prepare transport documentation and batch required documents for subsequent release and delivery/collection.
• Prepare the clearing instruction and batch documents for clearing.
• Surrender original documents when required to service providers.
• Liaise with various service providers.
• Co-ordinate 3rd party invoices
• Prep files for invoicing
• Assist with client queries.
• Assist with estimates and or landed costings.
• General reporting on a daily basis
• Manage emails and communication on a daily basis.
• Ensure the paper files contain full set of documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification – Grade 12
