SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity in the Manufacturing sector is seeking a BCompt Assistant Financial Manager. the successful incumbent will need to have completed articles and have gained experience in a manufacturing environment. SAP experience is essential.

** Must reside in the East Rand area**

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties and Responsibilities

General accounting knowledge e.g. taxation, auditing, cashbook, debtors, creditors, EFT.
Preparation and finalisation of financial statements as per local GAAP and IFRS on monthly basis.
Responsible for the preparation of various MIS like operating performance along with variance analysis, scrap analysis, etc as decided by the management on monthly basis.
Daily interaction with Financial Manager on financial requirements.
Interaction with company’s banks; as required contact with company’s financial auditors; as required contact with customers and suppliers as and when required.

Requirements

BCompt with 3 years completed articles.
Financial, auditing and analytical skills
Sound working knowledge in Excel and SAP
Knowledge and understanding of SHEQ is essential.
Tax laws, Companies Act and statutory requirements
