Assistant Financial Manager

SUMMARY:
A key entity within the FMCG space is looking for an Assistant Financial Manager to join their energetic team.

POSITION INFO:

Qualification:

• BCom Honours Degree

Skills:

• 3-5 years’ experience within the FMCG industry is essential.
• Strong Group reporting / Consolidations experience

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparation and analysis of the monthly consolidation for the South African Group
• Produce group monthly management accounts                
• Monitor variances between actual results, forecast and budget and analyse reasons for variances
• Provide meaningful analysis of and insights into the group financial information  
• Reporting month end results to external shareholders                                
• Maintenance and monitoring of intergroup loan accounts                          
• Perform accounting-based due diligence on potential mergers and acquisitions as well as accounting treatmentAssist with the collation of information from external subsidiaries and associates
