POSITION INFO:

A leading retail solutions company operating across five continents is looking for an energetic and dynamic finance professional to join their team as an Assistant Financial Manager.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial accounting of transactions and the reporting thereof. The Assistant Financial Manager will also be responsible for processing general ledger journals, reconciling balance sheet accounts, consolidations and analysis.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• BCom Honors in Accounting

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Experience in the retail industry is preferred
• Sound financial acumen
• Performance and results driven
• Quality and detail excellence
• Experience with consolidations
• Experience with the full finance function e.g. debtors, creditors, general ledger etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
