SUMMARY:
Calling on newly qualified Chartered Accountants looking to gain commercial exposure with one of the leading mining giants based in Johannesburg North.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
My client is a global leader in the Mining space and have been in operation for over 7 decades. They are focused on the mining of various minerals locally and into Europe since their inception over 7 decades ago.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

CA(SA) – Non-negotiable
Newly qualified CA(SA)
Previous exposure to group audits (including the consolidation process)
Experience on Oracle – preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the internal audit function of the group to provide independent assurance that the governance and internal control processes are operating effectively
Assist the Financial Controller with tax compliance and submission for indirect and corporate taxes
Collation of indirect and corporate tax returns for timely submissions and assist with SARS audits and queries
Keep up to date with IFRS and tax changes and assist with the relevant implementation of these changes to the business
Assist with the statutory accounting process, such as the internal and external audit process
