SUMMARY:
My client in the Hospitality, Travel & Tourism industry is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to join their team, reporting to the Financial Controller

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities as follows:

Full cradle-to-grave creditor’s function
Petty cash and credit card control and reconciliation
Scope to increase responsibilities and to grow into a more rounded finance controller role (i.e. month-end journals, balance sheet recons, etc).
Applicant must be willing to learn and grow, be flexible, responsive and deadline-driven.
Cash book payments processing all bank accounts.
Petty cash and credit card control and reconciliation
Bank reconciliations
Stock control procedures
Assist Finance Manager with the annual statutory and BEE audit
Ad-hoc finance department support

Requirements:

Diploma in accounting and/or BCom in accounting or working towards your BCom.
3 year''s minimum experience in a similar role
Pastel Partner, Excel (Vlookup and Pivots).
Cloud accounting experience will be advantageous
