Job & Company Description:

Our client operates within the FMCG sector and they have an international footprint. They are one of South Africa''s dominators within their industry sector and they are recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their team. The successful incumbent must be a Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) that audited clients mainly within the FMCG, Manufacturing or similar production and stock based environment.

Duties:

• Financial Reporting & Management Accounting
• Drafting of Annual Financial Statements
• Financial Analysis
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• IFRS Compliance
• VAT & Tax
• Internal Controls
• Preparation of Audit Packs & Management Reports
• Stock/Inventory Reporting
• Intercompany Transactions
• Adhoc

Education & Experience:

• Chartered Accountant CA(SA) registered with SAICA - Compulsory
• Must have relevant industry exposure as mentioned above
• Exposure within a listed company would be highly advantageous

Skills Required:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines
