Assistant Financial Accountant

POSITION INFO:

Our based in Bramley View Johannesburg seeks an Assistant Financial Accountant to manage the company’s financial policies and procedures to ensure that the financial operations are effectively implemented in line with the business and profitability objectives.

 Duties:

• To capture and maintain records with regards to cashbook, debtors and all finance related information.
• To capture all transactions relating to accounts and credit queries and vendor applications.

• To coordinate the reconciliation of cash entries at branch level

• Collate cash transactions and prepare journals
• To ensure Supplier reconciliations and ledger accounts are completed on a monthly basis.
• Preparation and processing of all necessary journals

• To assist and prepare for auditing requirements.
• To ensure that all accounts receivable and accounts payable are processed accurately.
• To process payments to creditors and ensure all invoices and debt write offs are updated.
• To ensure that the cashbook processing is accurate and reconciled on a daily basis
• To ensure all daily banking and sales related entries are reconciled timeously

Requirements:

Bcom Accounting or equivalent

Minimum 5 years experience

Experience on Sage Evolution
