SUMMARY:
A luxury hospitality property in the Pilanesberg region is seeking an experienced and hands-on Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the Food & Beverage department in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high operational standards.
The successful candidate will assist in overseeing all restaurant, bar, and dining operations while ensuring excellent service delivery, staff performance, and guest satisfaction within a high-end hospitality environment.

REQUIREMENT:
- Previous experience in an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager role within a lodge or hospitality environment
- Strong Food & Beverage operational knowledge
- Excellent guest relations and hosting skills
- Strong leadership and staff management ability
- Good understanding of restaurant, bar, and service operations
- Experience with stock control, ordering, and cost management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Hands-on and service-driven approach
- Computer literacy essential
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in overseeing all Food & Beverage operations
- Ensure exceptional guest service and dining experiences
- Supervise restaurant, bar, and dining service teams
- Support staff training, development, and performance management
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination
- Ensure hygiene, health, and safety standards are maintained
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally
- Coordinate closely with kitchen and operational departments
- Monitor service standards and operational efficiency
- Assist with F&B administration, reporting, and controls
- Uphold property standards and professionalism at all times
