POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements

• Education: BTech or ND or Beng Tech (Civil) from a recognized South African Institution.
• Professional Registration: Pr Tech Eng or Pr Techni Eng registration with ECSA.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of post-graduate site experience.
• Training: Labour-Intensive Construction unit standard at NQF Level 5 (SAQA-accredited).
• Experience: Successfully executed at least ONE (1) bridge construction projects in a lead/site representative capacity.
• Availability: Full-time site presence for the contract duration.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day supervision, quality checks and quantity verification.
• Assist with progress reporting and certification inputs.
• Coordinate with inspectors, survey and materials testing teams.
• Snagging and close-out support.

Required Skills:

• Diligent, organised and able to work independently under guidance.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Team player with a community-focused approach.

Remuneration & Benefits:

• Accommodation: Provided for the duration of the contract.
• Vehicle Use: Compensation for personal vehicle use at Department of Transport prescribed rates, updated monthly.

• Salary: Market Related
